From 1997 to 2019, Marie Diaz owned, operated, and expanded her first business, Pursuit of Excellence, into a comprehensive scope of business strategies, performance optimization, and consultative strategic human resource offerings, including organizational development and design, exit planning, business optimization, leadership development, developing high-performance teams, culture, HR risk management, employee engagement, benefit management, and hiring the right talent. She has since transitioned to Chairman to pursue her passion and role with CEO CLUBS IMPACT.  

In her spare time, she expanded her entrepreneurial spirit into the retail and restaurant industry with Cielo Bistro's, The Cutting Board, and The NOVA on Preston, a fine Latin cuisine restaurant in Dallas, Texas. Her love for animals inspired her entrepreneurial spirit to write her latest book: A Coffee Table Book Series - PAWsitive Perspectives, inspired by her Yorkies, Romeo and Juliet.  

Marie is a frequent keynote speaker for business and community organizations, recognized as a visionary thought leader and expert in her field. She is inspirational, powerful, and dynamic. By combining inspiring keynotes with skills-based training, Marie brings about positive change in leadership and entrepreneurship.

Her journey in entrepreneurship began with her first company, Pursuit of Excellence, which embodies the belief that the greatest power on earth is a concept or idea that can inspire people to be greater than they are. To lead and motivate others and to help others achieve their life long goals this impacting families, community and our world.

This passtuon drives her to lead and motivate others, helping them achieve their personal dreams so as to build legacy left with personal signatures. Pursuing excellence has always been at the core of her life, inspired by her son guiding her personal development and entrepreneurial spirits and mindset. 

"You never arrive," states Ms. Diaz, emphasizing that when you think you do, it's time to change rooms. She recognizes that persistence, patience, grit, and the ability to listen are essential success factors in any business. With her leadership skills, Marie has learned to never give up, and she believes that if you are disliked or hated, you’re probably making a difference. 

Marie shares in her new book "ImPOSSIBLE IMPACT"  her experience that there are times when giving up is simply not an option. When life throws you curveballs, your inner strength often becomes your greatest ally. It’s the actions you take at any moment that determine your ability to succeed and the actions you take are a by-product on how you' think not just to survive, but to intentionally live with purpose. 

Although today others may say that I am a shining example of what persistence, grit, and dedication, ot was my ImPOSSIBLE mindset that brought my business accomplishments to its highest potential. My ImPossible IMPACT" mindset was intrinsically linked to a long and challenging journey of discovery. 

When the odds were against me, I had to rise to the occasion and make something happen. I became an expert at that skill, placing it at the core of my personal survival and career. My mother's words resonate with me daily: It’s up to you to build your future. We are all a 'do it yourself project,' and you alone hold the pen to write the best story ever told just the way you want it.

As a strong advocate for small business growth and entrepreneurship, Ms. Diaz is passionate about the growth and success of her community and the people who contribute to it. Her commitment to helping others succeed reflects her belief in the power of effective leadership and the positive impact it can have on society. 

Her philanthropic efforts stems around helping the less fortunate, homeless, single parents, our veterans and our youth.
